Christian Appalachian Project Regional Distribution Center

Community Bridge is proud to serve as a Regional Distribution Center for Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) and its Operation Sharing program, helping expand access to essential resources for nonprofit organizations serving communities throughout West Virginia.

Through this partnership, Community Bridge receives and distributes donated products and essential goods to qualifying nonprofit partners, allowing resources to move from our warehouse into communities where they can make a direct impact.

Together, Community Bridge and Christian Appalachian Project are building stronger communities across West Virginia.

What is Operation Sharing?

Operation Sharing is Christian Appalachian Project’s in-kind donations program, connecting donated goods with nonprofit organizations, schools, churches, and other community-based organizations serving people in need throughout Appalachia.

As a Regional Distribution Center, Community Bridge helps extend the reach of Operation Sharing into West Virginia by providing a local connection where approved partners can access available resources.

This means more products can reach more organizations — and ultimately more individuals and families — without every organization having to travel long distances to obtain them.

Who Can Partner?

If your nonprofit organization serves individuals and families in need, we would love to talk with you about becoming a partner.

Our goal is not to replace the work already happening in local communities. Instead, we want to strengthen organizations already doing the work by helping connect them with additional resources.

Partners may include organizations serving populations such as:

  • Low-income individuals and families

  • Children and youth

  • Foster and kinship families

  • Seniors

  • Individuals experiencing homelessness

  • Individuals and families affected by disaster

  • Recovery and sober-living communities

  • Other vulnerable or underserved populations

Organizations must meet applicable eligibility and partnership requirements to receive resources through the program.

From Our Warehouse to Your Community

One of the greatest strengths of the Regional Distribution Center is the ability to multiply impact.

A truckload arriving at Community Bridge doesn't serve just one organization or one community. Through our network of nonprofit partners and Community Bridge Hubs, those resources can move outward into communities across West Virginia.

One delivery can impact dozens of organizations. One partnership can reach thousands of people.

This model allows local organizations to continue doing what they do best — serving their neighbors — while Community Bridge and Christian Appalachian Project help provide resources to support that work.

Why Community Bridge?

Partnership has been at the heart of Community Bridge since the beginning. We believe communities are stronger when churches, nonprofits, businesses, schools, recovery organizations, and community leaders work together rather than independently.

Serving as a Regional Distribution Center is a natural extension of that mission.

Our role is to help bridge the gap between available resources and organizations with people who need them. By combining Christian Appalachian Project's extensive Operation Sharing network with Community Bridge's growing network of partners and Hubs, we can help resources travel farther and impact more communities throughout West Virginia.
